About the Venue
Located on the banks of the majestic Hudson River, midway between Albany, the state capital, and New York City (which is just over an hour away by train), the Marist College campus is situated in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley. This area boasts a rich historic tradition with the homes of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the Vanderbilt Estate just up the road with the opportunity for conference attendees to attend a reception at the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home, a long-standing partner of Marist College. In addition to these historic sites, the commanding United States Military Academy at West Point is within an hour's drive of Marist on the way to the major airports while the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park, the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world, is only a few minutes from our campus. While you're in town everyone should experience our 'world class' cuisine as the Culinary Institute of America is just minutes from Marist. Many of the graduates have placed their roots right here in the Hudson Valley, opening many restaurants that are sure to please any palate.
